Open Question: is graphic arts a good career choice for me?

Alright so ive takin some time off from college cause i couldnt decide on a major but now im ready to go back. I have it almost narrowed down to what i wanna do but im havin trouble deciding. I know i wanna take some web page designing classes for sure but i dont want that to be my major. im thinking of either majoring in graphic arts or hospitality management. Im kinda leaning towards graphic arts but im not sure if its right for me or if ill be good at it. Im a creative persone and i like art and i always enjoyed art classes in high school. but im not a very good artist i guess. im not the best drawer. so i guess idk if i should even bother with graphic arts or not. Can someone maybe tell me what all goes into graphic arts and if u think i should even waste my time considering it. money is a factor too i guess. idk if id make very much doin it or not. if anyone had any info or advice please leave a comment. thanks everyone

Open Question: Family of 5 traveling to western europe for 40 days?

Wondering the cost and the plan of this itinerary (number of days indicated behind city/country, thinking it is around $25000. USD for 40 days in western europe including air and rail, not planning on renting a car (should I rent one?)  I wanted to start in Scotland (2 days), then to Liverpool (1), then Ireland (2), then London (5), then to Paris (5), French Riviera (2),  Madrid(2), Lisbon (2), Barcelona (3), Switzerland (3), Italy (Rome -3, Verona, -1 and Tuscany-1), Greece (3), Austria (3), and Germany --Munich (3). Is this a realistic, doable itinerary. Not taking too much. We will wear backpacks. Our kids are 16, 12, 11. We do not plan on doing to much shopping, but would rather sightsee. We can get by on two meals a day. What problems do you foresee? Am I over or underbudgeting? I was thinking around $5000 for the rail passes, $5000 for rt air, and the other money to get buy for a month and a half realistically. Also, my husband will only be with us part of the trip. We will be four females traveling together....safety suggestions also?

Open Question: Short road trip by myself: lame or fun?

Hello, I'm a 20-something woman, currently going through a divorce.  Things have been a little tough... local friends have been distant, possibly not wanting to get in the middle (plus they all have significant others, so I'm the odd one out now), and seeing my ex is always awkward and uncomfortable.  I haven't met a whole lot of new people lately, so I've been feeling kind of lonely and it brings me down sometimes. My family and old friends all live super far away.  I have no plans for labor day and was thinking about taking a short road trip to a fun new city for a change of scene. Would it be lame to just take off by myself for a few days?  Has anyone done this before?  Did you like it or not?  Also, any safety or practical advice for a young lady traveling by herself?  Thanks!
